Finn has taken a little while to warm up to outdoor activities like bike-riding and scooter rides and I think it’s partly our fault. We have always been super protective and scared of him falling and hurting himself! haha, over the top I know. However, he absolutely loves the outdoors and in the past six months has been learning to ride his scooter.
It has taken him a while to build up his confidence as he gets the hang of it but with the introduction of his new three-wheeler scooter from Globber, he has come leaps and bounds.
Firstly, he got to pick his favourite colour, red, and he was lucky enough to get the limited edition Ferrari scooter. He was so excited when it arrived in the mail and was eager to try it straight away. I was expecting to have to put it together but all it entailed was a simple click in to place and we were ready to go. I then attached the Led flash light, which just wrapped around the front! So EASY!!
On my first day off, I took him down to the lake and let him run free. I was so proud to see this little man push himself to new limits as he sped up and down hills and learned how to turn properly.
I could tell immediately that he felt more comfortable with the sturdiness and safety of this scooter. The assisted steering and the adjustable handlebars also made a huge difference.
Finn has always been in the highest percentile for his height so to be able to change to height of the bars made him feel much more comfortable.
I also noticed that unlike in the past where he would get fed up or give up after a while, he wasn’t stopping at all. I think this was due to the assisted steering, which made it so much easier for him to turn the corners. He wasn’t getting frustrated and if he was struggling to turn he just jumped off and moved the scooter himself.
I can’t help but exaggerate how a good quality scooter really made a difference to Finn’s confidence.
Before we got got home that day, Finn had already asked me when we would be going next. He loved it.
I would highly recommend trying out these scooters for your little ones. The quality and adjustable handlebars make a huge difference and will give your kiddies that extra confidence they might need.
They come in a range of cute colours for both boys and girls and start from ages 3+. Globber also offer a range of cute accessories like the LED light on Finn’s scooter, which caused a bit of distraction as he turned it off an on (boys will be boys!). Finn’s scooter is the MY FREE limited edition Ferrari scooter and will only be available for a short time so get in quick!
Globber also have a range of two-wheeler scooters and convertible scooters with seats to make it easier for the little ones learning how to ride.
