Hey Holly, Yes it was power-sanded back. My husband used a water-based undercoat and normal interior pant for over top. xx

Hi Rochelle, the splash back actually already came with the kitchen and so did the side of the cupboard. It’s a newer version of the original kitchen! The pots & pans are from Ikea and my husband screwed in picture hooks so he could hang those and the utensils from them 🙂
